Isaque Pinheiro

Born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1972. Isaque Pinheiro lives and works in Porto. In addition to individual exhibitions in the galleries Caroline Pagès in Lisbon, Mário Sequeira in Braga, Presença in Porto, Esther Montoriol in Barcelona, ​​Laura Marsiaj in Rio de Janeiro, Moura Marsiaj in São Paulo and Ybakatu in Curitiba, there are also participations in group exhibitions at the Stenersen Museum in Oslo, the Galician Center for Contemporary Art in Compostela and Caixa Cultural in Rio de Janeiro.
He is represented in the EDP Foundation Art Collection (MAAT), PLMJ Foundation, Museum of the Cerveira Biennale, Caixanova Foundation in Spain, Galician Center for Contemporary Art in Compostela, and Edson Queiroz Foundation in Fortaleza, Brazil, among others.
He was awarded the Acquisition Prize by the Municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira at the XV Cerveira International Art Biennale (2009) and at the XVIII Cerveira International Art Biennale (2015).
