Architecture
The architectural project of CIAJG is by the Pitágoras Group, an international office dedicated to the practice of architecture and all associated services. In its creative approach, it seeks to reinvent the simple and the obvious, designing buildings that are more conscious and surprising, add value to the local context and respect the technical, economic and functional issues.
With more than ten thousand square meters of construction area, the CIAJG project involved the transformation of the former Municipal Market, located near Largo do Toural and the Historic Center. Benefiting from these conditions, CIAJG contributed to the physical and functional recovery and reintegration of a fundamental area in the space of the city of Guimarães.
