Paulo Neves

Born in Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal in 1959. Paulo Neves attended the course of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. From 1978 to 1981, he lived and worked with several artists in various European countries.
He participated in several solo exhibitions, such as Galeria Valbom in Lisbon (2006) and Galeria São Mamede in Porto (2016).
He also collaborated in several group exhibitions: New York Independent Art Fair in New York, USA (2002), Galeria Mouraria, Madeira (2008), among others.
His work is represented in national and foreign public and private collections.
He participated in several editions of the Cerveira International Art Biennale, having been awarded the Águas do Minho e Lima Prize in the 13th edition (2005) and the DST Prize – Domingos da Silva Teixeira, SA in the 14th Cerveira International Art Biennale (2007).
